I am actually unable to express how happy I am with the delivery I have just received, I love everything about it, the blue colouring on the face didn't photograph too well but now it is my hand I can truly appreciate the depth of colour. I cannot thank you enough for your excellent service and keeping me up to date and involved in the process of deciding all the different elements along the way, this made it feel more like a couple of old friends chatting rather than a business transaction. You, without doubt, go the extra mile by adding special touches like the logo on the box, the reverse of the watch, the deployment catch and on the extra strap that I ordered.

The watch arrived on time and I just opened it and had a good look at it when it arrived to check it.
What can I say the watch is beautiful, gorgeous, perfect and everything about it just oozes quality even the box it comes in! It’s larger than I was expecting but that is fine for me as I tend to go for larger watches anyway. I wore it when I went out with my brother last night and he loved it too.
The strap fits fine and it is just right for my wrist. Not too long and not too short. I have had to replace the deployment clasp with a buckle though (it’s a good quality brushed stainless-steel buckle). The reason being that with the strap being quite thick I found it a little bit bulky and uncomfortable. This is by no way a criticism as the strap is perfect and I’m glad I went for the strap rather than a steel bracelet as it sets the watch off perfectly. If you would like me to send the deployment clasp back to you just let me know and I will happily send it back.
I set the watch yesterday to the time signal and this morning it hadn’t dropped a second which is more than I can say for some of my more expensive watches. The exhibition back is a lovely touch and shows the movement off perfectly.
I wish I had come across your website sooner as I could have saved myself a lot of money trying to find the perfect watch. My brother thinks I am obsessed with watches and he is probably right.
I would just like to say thanks for your prompt attention; it’s nice to be able to deal with someone on a personal level. If you weren’t so far away from where I live, I would call in and thank you personally. You should be rightly proud of your business and the hard work you obviously put in.

I consider myself a small-time watch collector and horological buff. I was surfing the internet on new watches and watch reviews when I came upon an article for Wessex Watches. I was very intrigued as to the notion of creating my own singular watch. After reviewing the Wessex website, I sent a question regarding the article I had read. Not thinking anyone would respond back soon, I was quite impressed with the immediate response. From that initial feedback to the time the watch was delivered was all very new to me. I had never thought about having a family heirloom created in the form of a watch.
Jamie Boyd and his team at Wessex are engaged with the customer and very proactive in exceeding the customer expectations. Even with the 5 hour time difference, there was never any lag in time on any of the communications. From the onset, Jamie was very committed to providing a watch that would stand the test of time for our family. He created a single piece that serves not only to tell the time but it exquisitely highlights my inputs on design. I’ve been collecting watches for nearly 25 years now and I have yet to meet anyone who is as dedicated to his craft as Jamie is to Wessex.
I am so pleased with the purchase of my Wessex that I’ve already started communicating with him about the next one. There’s no higher form of flattery than to be a repeat customer. By purchasing a Wessex, you’re intricately involved in each phase of the design and the design will only be available to the customer. The notion that a high-quality bespoke watch can be had for a very attractive price is a game changer. If you’ve never seen a Wessex, I suggest that you look hard at it because the one you’re looking at is bespoke. Whatever you can think of, Jamie can create. I look forward to the next Wessex!

After searching online for alternatives to the run of the mill Watches that may be bought on the High Street, I came across your website. The Watches on offer had all the attributes I was searching for, Swiss Movements, Sapphire Crystal, Exhibition Caseback, affordable and most of all, they were very different with their unique Custom Dials. I was especially pleased that I had found a local Company based within 30 miles from my home. However as the Company was new, I did have some slight trepidation before committing to an order, but I also felt that I wanted to support a new local Watch company.
Your prompt telephone call in response to my pre-order email questions allayed any reservations I had and indeed made it clear that I wasn’t just buying a Watch, but that what you were offering was indeed a bespoke Watch building service. It was a great opportunity to discuss options with you and receive your advice on the the art of what might be possible.
Subsequently I found that ordering on your website was clear and simple and I didn’t even wait very long between ordering and delivery.
You do, I suggest, need to do something about the presentation of your creations on your website as in my opinion they are seriously understated and the photographs do not do justice to the quality of your work.
When I unboxed my Watch, which had clearly been packed with care (quite unlike others’ Watches I have received), it exceeded all of my expectations and displayed a significant amount of reflective movement in the Dial which I had not expected. I can tell you that it does not just tell the time but is a constant visual fascination to behold every time I wear it!

Love the way the dial seems to change colour in different lighting. The wife loved it also.

My Guilloche Weave watch has arrived today and I have to say I am stunned.
How you can produce this quality for the price I really don't know, I have tried my best to find even the tiniest flaw but there are none.
I have owned other quite expensive Swiss watches and the fit and finish of the Wessex watch I received today is equal without doubt.
I can also say that the pictures on the website do not do it justice, in the 'flesh' it is even more attractive. It's probably the best purchase I've ever made in terms of value for money so please accept my sincere thanks and appreciation for your close, personal attention during the sales process.
